Challenging behaviour is a situation most carers have to deal with at some time and training equips staff with the knowledge of what triggers these behaviours and how to deal with the situations that arise.
We believe that ongoing training and refresher courses are a must, which is why we are currently training our staff in all mandatory qualifications, as well as environment specific training. To name a few that we cover:
• Abuse Awareness • First Aid CIC • HSE First Aid at Work • MAYBO • Fire Safety Awareness |
• Food Hygiene • Hand Hygiene • Infection Control |
• Manual Handling • NVQ 2 in Care • Working with learning Disabilities |
We also have our own in-house instructors in Control & Restraint and Management of Violence & Aggression to conform to the new and ever changing government guidelines.
To aid us in ensuring that all staff maintain their validity in training we use a sophisticated software programme that highlights all approaching expiry dates so that our training department can arrange refresher courses for all concerned.
The tuition we provide is constantly reviewed and updated.
